Its thick tabletop is constructed of 2 panels of solid wood connected with butterfly joints. These joints are a type of inlay that serve both structural and decorative purposes. Adding to the natural beauty of this rectangular dining room table are live edges on the long sides of the 2 tabletop panels. A small space where the panels are joined highlight the curves of the wood, while the curves on the exterior edges add dimension. The table is exceptionally made the top is solid and does not even look like a veneer top. The base is hollow which is fine but it looks very nice and solid. Table looks lovely. Amount of time it took to be delivered based on statements when purchased was an issue. Site said 1-2 weeks, took 3+ months. But overall really like the table so far - modern, clean style without being too of the moment to go out of style soon. Company needs to do a much better job estimating delivery dates. I would hesitate before ordering from them again for this reason. Gorgeous table! I get tons of compliments for it. Actually fits 5 chairs comfortably. One thing I will say to keep in mind is that the top of the table is thick (3-4”) so although the overall height of the table is 30”, you’re losing those other inches in leg space. The table is beautiful. It took me a couple of hours to get used to it, as our previous table was dark brown and more uniform color. I love the color of this table, but beware that the wood knots show more due to light color. I suppose they give it additional charm, though I expected to have less knots visible. The legs of the table are very unique and stylish. Our chairs tuck in just nicely on the sides, but they don't tuck in all the way at the head of the table as the legs of chairs bump into the legs of table. It doesn't bother us, but we probably won't keep the chairs at the head sides of table all the time. Also, when you sit on the head of the table, the space for legs is limited. If you push yourself in all the way, you won't be able to spread your legs, but this is not a big deal if you don't sit there often. I was concerned that the table would stain easily, but I tested it immediately upon delivery. The fluid beads up on top of it, so there is definitely a good protective coating on it.
