Sadly we returned this. I wanted to love it but it was just 'off'. Some of the strings were pulled right when we too it out of the box and it was EXTRA FIRM. Just didn't feel like it was worth the cost and with pulls happening right out of the box I knew in a few weeks it would be bad....

It’s very firm but not uncomfortable. It holds its shape when in use. You could easily use it as table in front of the couch.
