We are really happy with this console. The wood color is just as pictured, very smooth, and sturdy. It came assembled and we just needed to add the legs. The drawers are a good size, and I love the little gold/brass accents. Two things to note, the drawers need an extra push to close after each use and the legs are painted to match veneer- pic posted. Overall a great media console.
