Tapers change the mood of a table faster than any other object their size. Real wax gives these the look and surface of a traditional candle. A steady glow takes the place of an open flame, so you can leave them lit down a dinner table, along a mantel or in a window all evening.

Wax is what sells a pillar candle at close range, and this one has it where your eye lands. Its taller pillar shape holds its own on a mantel or in a wide holder, and a steady glow keeps the room warm long after a real wick would have given up. Set it on a tray with a few smaller pieces and let it anchor the group.

Pillar candles do the grouping thing well, and a pair gives you the start of a cluster on a tray or a mantel. Wax wraps these so the surface reads as the real article rather than a stand-in. Batteries sit inside, so the glow comes on when you want it and stays even, evening after evening.

Pictures do not do the purchase justice. Candles look real from a distance. Beautiful compliment to the lantern. Love love. Anonymous. Fort Lauderdale, FL. Thu Jul 09 2026

Candlelight is mostly about the shape of the thing before it is ever lit, and a pointed taper has the best silhouette of the lot. Wax covers these so they read as the real thing from across a room. A steady glow does the work of a flame, which means you can line them down a table and leave them lit through dinner.

These are great tapers and look lovely when turned on!. Monica. Scottsdale Az. Mon Jan 05 2026

"There aren’t a lot of places for designers to work where they can create something and then see it made into a beautiful finished product ready for shipment. That’s what’s unique about us: we manufacture in Minnesota, in the same building we work. Because we live to create, we have in-house calligraphers, illustrators, painters, writers, designers, sourcing geniuses, chemists, mixers and wick straighteners. We take big ideas and inspiration, and then complicate them until they’re messy and unwieldy and just how we like them. And then we start refining. Every day we collaborate, to wrangle our biggest ideas into your favorite new find. "

This taper candle brings a playful seasonal accent with its sculpted ghost shape. Made from wax, the unscented design offers decorative candlelight without adding fragrance to the room. Molded details define the ghostly figure, while the tapered base allows it to fit into a compatible candle holder. Its solid color keeps the focus on the dimensional silhouette and distinctive form, making it a decorative addition even when unlit. Plus, the unscented wax lets you enjoy the warm glow without competing with other fragrances.
