A wee bit darker than the pictures led me to believe, but still pretty. I like that the shape adds interest to the room, and it's very sturdy, especially for bamboo. We're keeping our board games and puzzles on it, and it's been nice to have them out and accessible.

This is a really neat piece. Goes together easily and looks great just like in photos. Only reason not 5 stars is the very top has a crack in the wood that is not visible but hopefully will not cause a long term issue and the shelves were shipped in a box that had one end open and only covered with tape so there were some light scratches. For the cost of this bookshelf I’d expect a higher quality level on shipping to ensure the item arrives in perfect condition.
