The furniture item itself is very well made of fine wood, and it is beautiful. However, I had to get two of them because the first was damaged, and replacement unit was also damaged. ALMODERN made it possible for me to salvage good parts from the two damaged units so I could fabricate ONE almost perfect unit. THE PROBLEM occurred at the manufacturer's end. I love it! I got this size because the bigger one was going to take months. But I'm VERY glad this is the size I got. It's almost too big. Delivery was easy. I do wish they gave you more notice or allowed you to schedule when it's convenient for you. However, the delivery guys were great. I completely love this sideboard. If you’re on the fence about it, BUY IT! Arrived early and the delivery men were so accommodating and communicative. There’s a small crack on the BACK of the sideboard but I’m not worried about it being that it will face the wall. It has a gray, ash wood-like tint. I was hoping it would be a little more birch-like. But this a solid piece of furniture, and lots of room inside.
