George Nelson United States (1908 - 1986)George Nelson began his design for what became the Swag Leg Group with the simple desire to create furniture with a sculptured leg. Beyond beauty, he sought practicality, insisting that the legs be made of metal, machine formed and pre-finished. The Nelson Swag Leg Group is a revival of an historic collection by George Nelson. Introduced in 1958, the group's evocative pieces have a look, scale, and function that are simply right for today. These classic, sculpted designs can be used individually or together in the home or office, from meeting spaces to offices and dining areas.
Featuring the bold and impressive modern design of George Nelson, the re-edition of the classic and highly regarded 1948 -1960 George Nelson Wall Clocks offer a sharp contrast to the conventional and bland wall clock. Using original documents and specifications from the George Nelson Archive and with great detail, The Vitra Design Museum is presenting a re-edition of the flashy and renowned Ball Clock. With your choice of five different finishes, this meticulously crafted and radiant wall clock will be the topic of conversation at your next cocktail party.| Item: | Dimensions: | Weight: |

Love it! Great product!!! Classic design.... Perfect addition (if you can justify spending this much on a clock)... But i think having a piece of iconic design is well worth it. |

Mid-century modern indulgence Bought this clock (in natural) for 1969 Florida ranch house kitchen after seeing an original in the Philadelphia Museum of Art Collab collection. Found several originals on e-Bay but couldn't bring myself to spend all that money for a 60 y/o electric motor. Handsome, fun clock to have. |

Wonderful clock I decided to buy Nelsons clock from Vitra because they follow the original 1948 design, plus the clock is manufactured in environmental friendly way and complies with all important safety rules. Certificate of origin comes with the clock. The customer service was great and delivery was fast. For midcentury modern arcitecture lovers, this clock is a great addition to the houseapartment. |
