The top appears to be a plywood laminate. The table itself is wobbly after the buyer attaches legs with the screws provided. (Perhaps glue will strengthen it.The top and legs are well-packaged. The only notification from the shipper is via e-mail. Its web site does not include the U.S. among its locations to confirm the date and time.
Looks Great, not sturdy
Bruno from Suffern, NY
I bought a smaller version (48 by 24) of this table a week ago to use as a breakfast table. It looks great, but it is NOT very sturdy. This is not a table you could stand on to change a lightbulb, or for rolling out dough. I knew it was made of solid wood, but I didn't expect it to be so shakey when I put a heavy bowl down on it. Again it looks great and is well made, it's just not very strong. Whish I had gone for something solid wood.

I am really happy with this table. It is really sturdy and the color pretty much matches the color swatch online. Some of the legs were a little tricky to get on, but it worked out fine and I'm happy very pleased.
