The long and varied career of two-time Compasso d’Oro winner Giotto Stoppino features many distinctions. After studying architecture, he worked with the prestigious Architetti Associati studio in the 1950's and went on to open his own studio in 1968. He has served as president of both the Association of Industrial Design (ADI) and the ICSID Congress in Milan. His works have been exhibited in museums around the world and one of his chairs is a part of the permanent Vitra exhibit.
In 2000, Stoppino’s career reached another milestone when the Poste Italiane issued a stamp featuring one of his designs.
