So far, so good
Nicole from Houston, TX– Verified Buyer
Ordered 2 of these. So far they seem to be pretty good and they do look very nice in my kids rooms. Assembly looked daunting, but as I got going it wasn't so bad. It took me about 3 hours to do one myself(with interruptions from my kids). The drawers are what take a long time. If you have 1 person start the drawers while someone else does the main part, it probably wouldn't take long. I was a little concerned that they won't hold up because the tracks for the drawers are plastic, but so far seem to work just fine. The drawers don't hold quite as much as they look like they should. The sides and backs of them are not as deep as the drawer fronts make them look, they work fine for my kids stuff, but adults may not be able to fit as much. Definitely anchor them to the wall! My son already tipped one on himself. Luckily they're not super heavy and he's ok. Overall, they are good for the price, and I hope for them to last a few years.
South shore dresser

I purchased 3 of these while they were on sale. Have only put together 2 so far and the second one was MUCH EASIER. The directions are very long and detailed. At the beginning of each step it tells you what parts you need. Sort out the parts per the parts list before you start and make sure you have every part handy when you start a new step. There are no spare parts provided. ( although after the first one I had 3 leftover connectorsscrews and only one after the 2nd, haha). These look nice for what I paid. Would be better if the drawer glides were metal instead of plastic, but so far so good. A few small chips that I filled in with the provided marker, not worth sending back over. This was much larger than I thought it would be, I would say the drawers are a medium size. They are wide but not as deep as I would like. Overall a good purchase if you have a day to put it together.
Looks ok, a lot of assembly time

This dresser doesn't line up like it's supposed to. My drawers overlapped until I put them in a different order and it didn't have an order listed that they would fit best in. It looks nice and neat in the pictures, but while it no longer overlaps, it also doesn't sit in line. It took hours to assemble and there aren't guide marks to help show you where you are supposed to put screws or nails in so hopefully you have a good eye. The color is nice and it looks alright now that it's together and the drawers are all mixed around but I expected a totally different experience from the way the images are.
very impressive dresser

I was very happy with what I got. I did alot of research on dressers, and this had the best reviews. It did take awhile to put together (about 5 hours) I took my time and made sure I read the directions right. The directions were pretty good, a few times I had to study the picture a bit but otherwise they were very useful. I would recomend this dresser to anyone who is looking for one. I think its good quality and I hope I get alot of life out of it.
Good Dresser, Tedious Assembly

Cons: Assembly took HOURS. Luckily I had assistance from a handy relative but it still took us 5 hours to put it together. A little difficulty configuring drawers in dresser so they all aligned evenly.
Decent piece for the price.

You have to take expectations into account with this piece. Our expectations were a simple looking piece for a cheap price that will function for the next few years. It is a sturdy enough piece, everything was well-packaged so there was no damage, and I have no complaints about it. It doesn't look like an expensive piece of furniture, but I do like the drawer slides and is actually larger than I was expecting. It did take a while to put together but was not difficult, even for me, 5 months pregnant with twins and a crazy 2 year old running around. I am an experienced DIYer though.

Looks nice after putting together the chest in this collection assembly was a breeze. It doesn't require two people as the directions state. The hardest part is the drawers because the holes were not all aligned correctly but I was able to put it all together by myself and I'm 120lb. female. It is slightly smaller than what you'd get for more money but it looks good in my bedroom along with the matching night stands.
Decent dresser for the price

We ordered this dresser for my son's nursery. For the price we paid, it will work for at least a couple of years. The parts are somewhat cheap looking and there are lots of them! Despite other reviewers saying it was difficult to put together, my husband found it was rather easy and completed it over the course of 2 days (about 3 hrs total). Once completed it fits our modern nursery very well and the drawers are deeper than I thought.
Matches my bedroom set

South Shore items have always been difficult to put together (I've had many South Shore products). With two people it takes about 2.5-3 hours, possible to do it in less time though. Definitely possible to do it by yourself but easier if you have help. Looks great in my bedroom and is just what we needed.

Again, I am using this in a spare bedroom and I think it will last bc it won't get much use. As stated in the other reviews it took my husband and I quite a long time to assemble. I knew this ahead of time by reading the reviews so we just took our time. The direction were minimal but we figured everything out and it turned out perfect. For the money and free delivery, you can't beat it.
