Roland Simmons Kalon Floor Lamp

purchased at discounted price,still not worth it, inferior quality,feel bad for those who paid full price

This lamp looks really cool and red is a fun color. It doesnt provide enough light to read by or anything but is great to add enough light for an evening gathering or whatnot. In the two years Ive owned this, the paper has buckled a certain amount and the screws that hold the legs on have gotten extremely loose (I can tighten them but it doesnt last). As a result, the lamp looks fairly tired and is very rickety if touched. IN FAIRNESS, our Roomba knocks it over fairly frequently, so you COULD SAY its my own fault and it is a very cool lamp that I would recommend ... just with some minor caveats.

This product is not really a lamp. It's more art than anything and the construction is interesting but flimsy. Assembly required two people and much patience. The base is a wirey stand type that needs to be hidden.
