QisDesign Aurelia Table Lamp

Be allured. Mesmerizing, amazing, beautiful--Aurelia, the Moon Jellyfish, evokes a sense of tranquility bordering on a trance state. So does the eponymous LED table lamp. Inspired by the astonishing underwater creature, the energy-efficient LED lamp offers a delight for not only your eyes but also your sense of touch. With a three-way "touch ring" dimmer, it enables easy luminosity adjustment. Glare is eliminated thanks to LED's small-size characteristic, making it possible to hide the LEDs in the center. LED's directional characteristic which lets the light reflect directly on the inner shade's strips also helps create the translucent ambience.

Mysterious and captivating, glowing jellyfish always luminesces gently, like a moon in the dark sea. It allured our design team into conceptualizing a lamp that recreates the wonder of the luminous Aurelia.

Collaborating again with Taiwan's National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium, InDesign studied various life forms of jellyfish. It resulted in a design comparable to jellyfish, both literally and figuratively. The transparent double acrylic shades resemble the airy body of the enchanting animal, creating a dreamy and irresistible charm. The changeable lighting effect also corresponds to the very essence of the ever-changing nature.
