I love this lamp! It really sets a nice mood and creates great mood lighting. It is weighted well and the base is a modern ceramic shape. The lamp shade is metal so it does not let any light through except through the bottom. It is definitely more of a lamp for mood lighting than for actually lighting up a room but I still really like it. The quality also feels very good for the price.. Peter. Bellingham, WA.
