It's great lighting, not too harsh, but enough to see what's going on. I ordered in orange, it's much more of a tan /neutral color than a bright orange. annafoat from london	5.0 8/1/2011 Cutest Nursery Lamp Ever So cute...very low light, perfect as a nightlight or as I am using it...beside the breast feeding rocking chair. It is almost life sized...so be prepared that its likely larger than you think. I have it on the top of the Offi Tiki Table in white and it spans the entire circumference kitty corner.
