Nice lamp, interesting purchase experience

I ordered this lamp, and a box arrived many weeks sooner than the online order system lead me to believe. Unfortunately, when I opened the box, I found the worng lamp inside. I was shipping the hanging Qb, not the table cube I ordered. One quick phone call to customer service, and the correct table lamp was on its way, even before I shipped the incorrect item back (at no charge to me).
I was delighted when the correct, Qb table lamp arrived. Unfortunately, the online specifications said the 6.99 inch version took an E14 bulb. This is incorrect. The Qb table lamp I received takes an E12 bulb. Believe me, I tried both, only the E12 fits.
Both E12 and E14 are often called candelabra base bulbs the E12 is a 12 mm diameter base used in the USA, the E14 is a 14 mm diameter base used in Europe.
Because the online system said the lamp took an E14 (European) bulb, which is uncommon here in New York, I went online and ordered the minimumm quantity of bulbs, 25 bulbs, from bulbs.com. Cost me almost 40. I ordered these in advance of receiving the Qb lamp because (1) the online system said this was the right bulb, and (2) I wanted to have a bulb available to test the lamp when it arrived.
If I had other lamps that took these bulbs, there would be no issue, but as I said, the E14 bulb is an unusual size here in New York, and now I have no use for these bulbs. Fortunately, another quick call to customer service made things right, and I was reimbursed 40 for the E14 bulbs I purchased.
So overall, two different mix-ups at their end, but they set things right easily, quickly, and cheefully. No arguments, no long wait on hold, no transfers to three different operators. So I am giving them 5 stars.
Anyone can make a mistake. How you deal with your mistakes is what matters, and speaks volumes to your character. Well done !
