Moroso O-Nest Arm Chair

Born in the Netherlands in 1968, Tord Boontje studied design at the Royal College of Art in London. Through his work, Boontje explores the juxtapositions of old and new, naturalizism and technology. He lived and worked in London until 1995 and currently lives in France, where he continues to work on his designs in his own studio which he founded in 2006. Boontje was nominated for designer of the year by Elle Decoration UK, and the Garland Light he designed for Artecnica won the awards for best light and readers choice for Future Classic.

The O-Nest Armchair's enveloping shape is reminiscent of a flowering bush, further articulated by an embossed floral pattern. Beyond the design, nature is at the forefront of function: waterproof and fade-resistant, this durable chair is perfectly at home outside as well as inside. • Product Care: Daily to occasional cleaning with standard commercial or residential cleaning products such as Fantastic, Mr. Clean, Windex glass cleaner with ammonia, Clorox cleaner with bleach and other non-abrasive cleaners. Hard-to-clean stains such as grease, lipstick, crayon marks, scuffs, fingerprints, hard water marks, etc., may be effectively removed with ScotchBrite’s Easy Eraser, but use care. Spot should be rubbed lightly with sponge until it is removed; hard rubbing may leave area color lighter or shinier than the surrounding material. After removing stain, lightly clean surrounding area to avoid visible differences in surface finish. Always dry cleaned area with soft cloth to avoid blotchy appearance. Never mix different cleaning preparations and always follow manufacturer’s directions for use. Never use powdered cleansers intended for non-porous surfaces. Always test product on underside or other hidden spot before using a cleaning product. Use only soft sponges or cloths; never use stiff brushes, abrasive materials or metal cleaning pads.
