About the Designer
Frank GehryFrank Gehry (1930 - )

Born in 1930, he studied architecture at the University of Southern California and studied City Planning at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard. He developed projects of private and public city planning in America, Japan. In Europe, he has recently been awarded the Pritsker Architecture Prize in 1989 and the Wolf Prize in Art in 1992. His projects have been published all over the world. The most important retrospective, "The Architecture of Frank O. Gehry" has been organized by the Walker Art Center in 1986 and has travelled the major American museums.

Perfect to lay bags in in foyer

I needed something to put purses and messenger bags on that was stylish and so we got this in white. Looks great and high quality for the price, but we don't use as a bench so I can't comment on that. So far no scratches from throwing bags on it so that's good.

Looks cool - Doesn't feel so good

I expected the bench to be a little bit thicker plastic since it is a bench and it needs to support someone sitting on it. It feels like it warps a little when any weight is on it and I am only about 150 lbs. It does look nice and we'll likely do if you don't plan to use it for sitting often.

simply the best garden bench
