The lamp is very attractive and easy to install. However, the light, even on the highest setting, is a little dim. The supplied cord cover is only 12" long and not very attractive. To get around the cord cover's short falls, use a pendant tube instead. You will need to disconnect the cord and file the hole in the cover a little bigger. Then slip the threaded end of the pendant tube through the cover and secure with a nut/washer.

The light is very hot, like food warming hot.

I have major eye problems and have to read with multiple lights. I ordered these for both my husband and myself to put next to our bed so we could read. The light is really good for reading. I loved them so much I ordered two more for another room. They seem to be very well made, a serious light for serious readers!

The rod to cover the electric wiring is too short -I would like a longer rod to hide the wire so that it does not show on the wall where the light is attached My previous light had two options of brightness when the light was switched on - like a two way switch I like the look of this light - it is very sleek and elegant

Task/desk lamp It's made much better than any product that I could find for this price point- and higher. I had no idea that you could get a lamp of this quality for this price! I honestly haven't found anything that I don't like about it.
