I thought it might just be the double wide that had the curve shelves, as in the pictures, but we ordered the triple, and the shelves are curved to the rear. We did manage to fit six units on, barely, and it is well made and well designed. But I swear that one of the photos shows rectangular shelves!

Very good product. Overall height may be a problem if you will utilize both shelves and have a very tall component. Otherwise I am very satisfied with this product.

We got our BDI 9639 stand today, just a few days after placing the order online. It looks great, and is clearly a well-constructed piece of furniture. We loved the "swatch" feature on this website... the color matches our other living room pieces _perfectly_! The only surprise was that the glass is frosted, which wasn't completely apparent from the pictures. (My wife points out that the frosted glass will hide dust better than clearer glass, anyway.) Also, the shape of the glass shelves is not perfectly rectangular; the short sides curve in toward the back... which actually looks better than in the picture. :-) The only warning about this thing is that the box weighs 140 lbs. You'll likely need help safely getting it moved and unpacked.

Beautiful design and craftsmanship. Even the installer was impressed. Exceptionally thick glass shelves and heavy construction add to its appeal. Very easy to assemble.
