Alessi - Girotondo Miniature Fruit Holder by King-Kong

With meticulous attention to the intricacies of the shape and materials used to make the original, Alessi has reproduced in miniature form the "Girotondo" Miniature Fruit Holder as designed by Stefano Giovannoni and Guido Venturini. Part of the whimsical King-Kong range, The "Girotondo" Fruit Holder features fun cut-out designs. From 1985 up to 1989, King-Kong has been the name adopted by the architects Stefano Giovannoni and Guido Venturini, creators of an elementary, playful cartoon language which made its mark on design in the early 90s.


Alessi has unveiled a series of miniatures comprising a number of classics from the last sixty years of their production. This collection includes iconic designs such as the "Anna G." Corkscrew by Alessandro Mendini (1945) and the "9093" Signature 67oz Kettle with Bird Whistle by Michael Graves. This impressive series was created with avid collectors of Alessi products in mind to give them the chance to complete their private collections of authentic Alessi products.
