Adesso Mimosa Satin Steel Floor Lamp

I was looking for a lamp to brighten my apartment and since this had the look and takes 150 watt bulbs, and wasn't insanely expensive, it won. I used a full spectrum bulb and it is perfect.

This lamp really lights up. We have no lights in the 10' high ceiling of our living room and this lights it up perfectly!! Our iving room is 19' x 17', fairly large.

exactly what I wanted contemporary lines, stainless, providing good light. It lights up a corner, looks beautiful. Base is nice and heavy. Was very well packed. Easy for one old lady to put together..

A very contemporary and stylish floor lamp! This floor lamp works well sitting behind a big screen PLASMA or LCD/LED television or as a stand alone fixture. The proportions are well designed and I would not hesitate to recommend this lamp to family and friends. In fact, this lamp was purchased as a gift for a family member recently.

The Adesso Mimosa lamp was exactly what I was looking for. It was hard to find a contemporary lamp that was over 70in.H, with a full range dimmer and a glass shade for a reasonable price. It has a really nice glow. The only con that I had was that it required a 150 watt incandescent bulb (which is not the green way to go), but I found a 100watt energy efficient bulb that is also dimmable, so now I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. I gave it four stars because of the bulb.

This is a good looking lamp that gives off lots of light. The biggest problem is in the construction. I ended up returning two different sets of lamps because the pieces would not screw into each other correctly (the end result is that the lamp was wobbly/crooked).
