Adesso Cupola Combo Torchiere with Gooseneck Reading Light

Lamp came with one of the fixtures that holds the bulb dangling took about 1.5 hours to fix. Two parts of the lamp are held together by a flimsy construct made of two alloy plates. Lamp is unstable. Not bad looking but poorly inspected before sent out and cheap design.

The 2 shades do not match. Top shade is greenish and side light is white. Contacted Adesso manufacturer and they confirmed that the plant is making a mistake. The owners are evaluating which shade should be replaced. I didnt want to return since I like the lamp.

This is an attractive, nice quality, lamp and provides 2 good light sources. The price is significantly less expensive than I saw at several other websites and a local lamp store. I do love it! However, it's cumbersome to put together and tricky to get the 2 poles that insert into the base lined up and evenly balanced so lamp sits at a 90 degree angle to floor. I assembled it alone but suspect someone with a helper or stronger hands probably would have found assembly an easier task. This is not a reason to not buy the lamp - the lamp is gorgeous!
