Julia Balfour is an abstract painter who uses form as a trace of her experiences that are influenced by color. Her abstract paintings reflect her view on the importance of colour in its most elegant and purest form. She uses watercolor to develop layers and relies on color to construct its own shape and find its place in a composition. Fantastic that looks great on our long dining room wall. I wanted to add a feeling of movement and energy on the wall and these did that for me wonderfully. They coordinate with the color of the wood in the dining room table and chairs and make the room feel very "bespoke." Very excited to have found these on Allmodern. Yay!.
