I love this tile for my craft room/solarium floor. I chose the repeating starburst pattern because it reminded me of lily pads and didn’t have any continuous lines across the room - I was going for a natural feel here, despite the geometric tile choice. It was a very easy pattern to communicate for install. There are so many ways these tiles can be laid so I recommend setting out a box worth and manipulating it in the space before finalizing. I chose it so it looked like the pattern is leading you into the room, and went with a light grout per my personal preference. I’m happy with how it turned out. There were a few print imperfections, and one crack, but the pattern is very forgiving so it’s only noticeable if you’re very close. Since it is hex, I needed almost the full 10% more to account for all the cuts around the edges of the square space. I got 18 boxes for 166 sqft and had just under a box left.. Lindsey. After a long search with many samples purchased, we landed on this “Ardena mosaic in Vena color” for our bathroom and shower floor. I use quotes for the tile’s name, because like the mattress industry, manufacturers don’t want consumers cross shopping their products across retailers. So you’ll find that this tile is called “Eden” at All Modern’s parent company WAYFAIR. It’s a shady practice that allows brick and mortar stores to charge triple for the same product found elsewhere. On the positive side, this tile offers enough texture in the matte finish to make me think it was be somewhat slip resistant (backed by its manufacturer COF spec.). It’s a warm cotton white in base tone with subtle, more diffuse veining than others in lighter goldish warm tones. Most porcelain tile mimicking real stone looks fake, this one doesn’t. these tiles look great on the wall - we bought 4 colors and they all had a nice glossy sheen to them. The only thing that was disappointing was the lack of consistency on the edges with the paint.
