14" Wide Gray Paintings

Living in a large metropolitan city on the east coast, you see the effects of the salt water on the concrete buildings and retaining walls that protect the city from the rushing tides. The textures and colorations of the materials as the ocean slowly distorts and deteriorates the structures and created abstracts based from my observational study. Each of these pieces are embellished by hand with touches of giclee to highlight and add texture to each canvas.

This beautiful picture arrives quickly after ordering it on Wayfair! I am very happy with the quality and it appears high quality and well made. It was easy to put on wall and the frame is sturdy. The front is black on frame but sides are a dark brown wood as shown in above pictures. But for what we have it you only see the black for the most part.. Jill. North Attleboro, MA. Mon Nov 03 2025

Just hung these two pieces and love them. The colors are calming and the modern design makes the wall feel more put together :). Operations. Sat Nov 22 2025

Distant Blue. This print is a reproduction of watercolor work by abstract painter Julia Balfour, who allows layers of pure color to construct their own shapes + find their places in this composition. It’s printed on paper in the USA, and arrives in a wooden frame with included hanging hardware.

This feels like a view in a Greek villa. A great little piece that compliments other prints from Julia Balfour. Her art is my favorite for cheap and cheery art for clients without a large art budget!. Carrie. New Smyrna Beach, FL. Mon Feb 02 2026

Very sweet print but now that I see the black frame, I think I will do a black frame. Mine is natural wood. Simple subject but it carries out the periwinkle color in my kitchen.. Heather. Columbus, OH. Thu Jan 25 2024

I needed to get a lot of art to decorate a 2-family townhouse I'm designing in NYC. I was worried I would not find enough pieces that would feel original, unique, cool. I turned to Allmodern and easily found several pieces that fit the bill. I love this one particularly as the colors pop off the canvas and add lots of energy to the area where it is hung. Great purchase.. Anonymous. Mon Apr 17 2023
