A beautiful wall clock that combines the fine texture of wood and paper. Thomson Paper has a clock face made of an unique design paper called Mermaid, named after the ripples of the sea, the home of the mermaid. Gentle, pleasant, and with superb choice of color, designer Yuichi Nara creates a three-dimensional numbers on the Thomson Paper's clock face using the iconic Thomson die-cutting machine, used to manufacture puzzles. The edges of the number outlines stamped out are naturally rounded like a tensed water surface and drop soft shadows into the spaces stamped out. Part of the Lemnos Plywood core collection.

Great looking clock. Too expensive for what you actually get. The template for mounting the hour markers should be much more accurate and robust, no just a piece of cardboard that you hook on and swing around the clock face. Great clock for $40…. Part of the internationally acclaimed designer Oki Sato's first series of design timepieces, Divide uses scientific concept other than numbers to tell time. Inspired by the electron configuration of an atom, the number of electrons is used to convey the time. The design draws a connection between the spherical path of electrons spinning around in the centre of an atom and the rotation of the Earth as time goes on. The designs were created with the intention of allowing the user to experience the passage of time in a stylish and conceptual way.

Made of Volakas marble, known as the "Carrara of Greece", this material is often chosen for use in modern and classic applications like this beautiful timepiece. Artfully marrying fashion and function, it delivers enduring style anywhere it hangs.
This is the 2nd of two almost identical wall clocks I ordered from Wayfair- the other being the black marble version of this one. Mine had 2 large black transfer marks from the rear hand to the marble (black scrapes) that mostly came off after a good scrub (small marks remain embedded). The clock itself is just perfect. The honed, "dry" look of the marble elevates the beauty. Amazingly, two distinct marble patterns are perfectly separated in one solid block. Just a gorgeous, heavy, top-tier clock.
