Artist Michael Kempen’s work finds a meditative quality in the balance of irregular shapes. This four-piece print set is an homage to the mid-century abstract paintings of Ellsworth Kelly + Robert Motherwell. Printed on paper in the USA, each piece arrives in a wooden frame with hanging hardware.

Resembling a set of children's toys taped together and then left in a corner, the distressed colors of this abstract piece don't quite fit together. Chunks of navy blue topple over flakes of yellow that are pasted to a teal background for a crumbly experience.
