Like others have said, the positioning of the mounting and hanging brackets on the back of the mirror leave the shelf un-level, not straight. Amendments were needed in order to make the shelf straight, which meant additional holes drilled into the wall which is not ideal. Also, the shelf color was light gray, not brown as it is pictured online (not even close to the color pictured). I was able to use varnish paint to paint the shelf a more brown-like color. The mirror is beautiful, but these issues were definitely frustrating to resolve.

I love the look and idea of this mirror. The only reason I am rating 4 instead of 5 stars is that the shelf is not level so you actually have to hang the mirror crookedly to level the shelf. Also the shelf is a different color that pictured but I still love it and am happy I ordered.
