Baltimore Painting

Inspired by the Dadaist movement and collage art, Unfold 1 is an homage to Ellsworth Kelly's "Cité," where ink strokes were brushed across a sheet of paper, cut into twenty squares, and randomly recomposed in a grid pattern. Shadowed tones add depth and dimension to the collage-like squares, while a neutral color palette and irregular shapes offer a softness to the sharp shapes—a remarkable abstract piece expertly finished with a solid pine frame.

The price, size, style and quality are great. Super happy I made this purchase. Nice texture to the art as well, which is what I was hoping for.. Gabriel. Mon Jun 30 2025

The clean slate hand painted canvas is an ode to new beginnings and the beauty of simplicity. Its heavy texture adds a tangible depth in whispers of white and cream and a crisp black gallery frame completes the piece. Due to the handcrafted nature of the artwork, each piece may have subtle differences. This piece may be hung horizontal or vertical.

Beautiful artwork! Exactly as described and shown!. Maria. Lexington, KY. Sat Nov 16 2024

I picked up two of these modern art pieces and centered them above my master bed — and wow, they anchor the whole room. The geometric 3D design adds just the right amount of visual texture without being too loud or busy. The brown wooden frame ties in with the rest of my furniture and softens the modern feel with a bit of warmth. The craftsmanship is solid, and they hang easily. Together, they give that curated, high-end vibe without the high-end price. Perfect for anyone wanting something abstract yet grounded... kind of like a good therapist in art form.. Michael. Raised between Ethiopia, Malawi, Togo, and South Africa, Jess Engle's worldly upbringing can be sensed in her culture-rich works. The now-Texan taps nature and geometry for artistic inspiration.
