Great size for my new studio apartment. Fit and finish of both table surfaces are very good quality at this price point. A small hairline crack where the seam of the metal band that forms the rim of the top surface may have been caused when I pulled it out of the packaging, so be careful. Perfect for what I needed to complete the space. Ideal weight so that it can support items that get set down on the edge like a laptop and will not shift. The base is metal and attaches to the top piece easily with 4 bolts. Took me 5 minutes to assemble and set in place alone, but would recommend two people just because of the weight.
