Really pleased with the color and visibility of the pattern in monotone. I was worried it would be darker or more brown but it is a true mustard. Nice thickness and weight makes it comfortable and allows it to unpack and lie flat easily. Have noticed quite a bit of shedding but that seems to be normal in the beginning for these wool rugs. I’ve only had the rug for 5 days and so far I’m in love . It vacuums easy but as wool does sheds a bit, not crazy. My previous wool rug did the same and it’s not any worse than dog hair so doesn’t phase me. It warms and brightens the room, adds lovely texture and it’s so soft I don’t want to wear socks. This area rug is stunning once on the ground. It’s rapidly become a focal point for folks. So far it hasn’t shed or bomb out the room with ‘new rug scent’ which is a relief.
