We love this bed! There are several pattern options to choose from. I based my decision on the picture over the bed. This room has been a fun project and ongoing with the adjoining bathroom. We adjusted the side boards a few times to get the pattern to match better. Very fast delivery and helpful over phone to determine true color. Sometimes it is not about starting from scratch but rather revisiting past designs and making them better. The new standard is simplicity at its best with a twist. Now new and improved. Upholstered headboard and side rails come together with tuned proportions and show-stopping legs. The thick headboard features a gentle recline that is subtle and simple, without putting you to sleep (unless that's what you're going for.)

The Manual bed is a lovely contemporary bed that can fit almost any style. The plush gray upholtery add cozy charm to any bedroom. The headboard has a cushion look and offers wings for a feeling of added privacy. Black metal accents offset the soft finish of this luxurious bed. The texture and style of this piece make it perfect for your industrial, farmhouse, or mid century home. Style with the matching Manual pieces.
The bed is great, overall. Very modern, fabric is soft to touch and the base looks very sturdy. However, do yourself a favor and look up Modrest Paula queen bed, which is the name of the bed, it says on the packaging. AllModern does not list the name of the bed on their website because they don't want you to compare prices with other stores. This exact same bed retails anywhere from $700 to $850. AllModern charges over $1,100 and they don't do price match. If only I didn't unpack and start assembling the bed and realize that assembly instructions were not included, I looked up the name of the bed on google and was shocked to see how much they overcharge compared to other retailers.
