This is a very beautiful table in person, but the listing misrepresents what it looks like in real life. The color of the oak is much warmer in person, and has more knots in it, which is not ideal. We LOVE this table!!! I also waited and hesitated like several others but finally ordered it. Took a cple weeks to get but well worth the wait. It does have openings in the wood here and there, it is definitely not completely smooth but that’s ok with us. Goes perfect with our boho farmhouse style but would go with any style.
