I’m gonna give this bed 4 stars based on the fact that it’s reasonably priced, it goes together in like 10 minutes, and it looks nice, clean and simple. HOWEVER, the bed isn’t perfect. The side rails don’t line up perfectly at the footboard (at least on mine), it came with a couple small blemishes in the paint, and a chip. AND while I like what they did with the slats here by adding Velcro, I actually added some 1/4” mdf that I had on top of the slats because they are not very strong and I was worried about that. ALSO, my king mattress sticks out over the sides of the bed by about an inch on each side. So it seems the bed is about 2” too narrow. After our last bed broke due to having the frame rails attaching to the headboard with screws into wood, I was really looking for a solid metal to metal attachment which this bed has. It was easy to put together, just be mindful of bending the hooks. We love the padding on all the pieces and the rails feel solid and comfortable enough to sit on.
