We purchased 2 sets of these for our part-time villa in Arizona. My husband is a "check-the-box" kind of guy. So, when putting these together, he definitely STRUGGLED. They did not go together smoothly. After assembling 1 - we considered returning them. He kept going...Once assembled, the look, comfort and purpose outweighed the cumbersome effort to assemble. I'm sitting in one for the first time while writing this review. There is not much support on the lower back, but otherwise, the upper back support is firm. The stool feels solid. The material looks nice and modern. We would not purchase again based on the assembly process. 1 of the 4 stool backs appears higher than the other 3, which is annoying and probably has something to do with the poor assembly.
