Overall, I loved the stand. Esthetically, looks elegant, holds up a couple of solid speakers, has two shelves within each cabinet. Our cinema set up is on a carpet area; even though the unit came in practically fully assembled, the only parts were not attached were the bottom legs that worked out for us as we've decided to not attach them so that they sit flush on the carpet and we don't have to deal with the dust underneath. If you're still interested in more details... We got an extra long one (essentially two standard ones connected, combined together). The reason for my 4 out of 5 is for two reasons: delivery was poor (3 damaged corners, 1 cabinet door doesn't open fully, and even after I called directly to address those concerns, was offered a discount on that purchase to be refunded to me, submitted all pictures, I have yet to get that refund.
