The chairs are absolutely beautiful and look even better in person. They feel very sturdy and well made, solid, firm, and quite heavy, which gives them a high quality presence. However, they are much harder than expected. While they’re fine for short periods, they’re not very comfortable for sitting over long stretches of time.
