Solid Ottoman, narrow for its length but works well in my space. Tall enough with firm (but still comfortable) seat to be used for sitting at a table. Really pleased with my purchase. It’s a very sturdy bench. It’s not really soft upon sitting (but not uncomfortable once you’re seated), but I also don’t anticipate sitting on it often. It’ll mostly be used as storage and to fill the space, and possibly additional seating if I have an overwhelming amount of guests, which is very unlikely.
