Was not expecting much going into the purchase, but came out pleasantly surprised by the quality. The fit and finish is top tier; there aren't any squeaks, rattles, panels of spec etc. The color in the pictures are very accurate, and the finish of the wood is smooth with no imperfections. Very heavy, solid piece and it looks great. If I have a criticism, it would be that it looks like it should have two drawers but it only has one, plus a small open shelf over the drawer. I was really hoping the shelf would have an opening to the back or side for a cord to go through since it would be a great place to keep a phone/laptop but no such luck, it is totally solid.. Scott.
