The coffee table is absolutely beautiful—just as pictured! The walnut color is rich and elegant, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. It’s well-made and a perfect addition to my space. However, the ordering experience was frustrating. I placed my order on 9/18/24, and AllModern initially stated I would receive it by 11/22, but the delivery kept getting pushed back. It ultimately took 4 months to arrive. Customer service gave conflicting reasons—one saying it was a made-to-order item, another saying it was back-ordered. We love the look of this mid century modern styled coffee table. However, our delivery experience was frustrating as the original and replacement tables both were damaged. Because it was still structurally sound, we kept the replacement table (with offered discount). It has a permanent corner ding and other areas which will require cosmetic paint repair. Customer service was exceptional and we had the replacement table within 5 days. The customer service representatives for both shipments were knowledgeable and responsive. This is a solid piece of furniture (80 lbs) and no assembly is required. Highly suggest the manufacturer add heavy duty edge protector posts inside the carton edges as the styrofoam & corregated combo corners cannot mitigate damage.. Sheila. Great size for my new studio apartment. Fit and finish of both table surfaces are very good quality at this price point. A small hairline crack where the seam of the metal band that forms the rim of the top surface may have been caused when I pulled it out of the packaging, so be careful.
