The photos show the item exactly as it looks in person. It is an attractive solid wood mid-20 century tv/credenza. Aesthetically, it is great. I splurged to have someone do the minimal assembly, but WARNING: this service DOES NOT include bringing into your home. The item arrived SEPARATELY. It's 90 lbs. and 79 inches long. Having a dolly is not in the assembly person's description, so you have to figure out how to get it to where you need it to be assembled. Also, mine arrived with 3 or 4 minor blemishes/scratches that weren't worth returning the item as I was able to cover them up with some furniture repair pens, still, for the price you would think the packaging process after it's manufactured would be able to prevent that from happening.
