So happy with this dresser. Solid hardwood, extremely sturdy and extremely heavy. If you’re a single female homeowner like me be prepared: with Covid delivery people aren’t entering houses and this thing comes as one solid piece, the only assembly is screwing on the feet and cross bar. Took a gamble because there were no reviews. Its a nice, heavy dresser. It seems like it will hold up well and the surface seems fairly resistant to scratches. However, I expected a bit of a different color for walnut - its much more of a dark brown in person. The dresser is beautiful and well constructed. However I mainly ordered it because the dimensions were described as the drawer interiors being 9.75 inches deep. They are actually only 5 inches deep. This is a really beautiful piece, truly a designer style and overall good quality. I love that there's a lip at the edge of the top around the entire perimeter so items cannot roll or be easily knocked off the dresser. I am using this as a baby changing table/dresser and it's perfect because the drawers are not too large, so if you're looking for big roomy drawers for storing jeans or sweatpants, these are not them. The top and bottom drawers are pull to open, but the center drawers rely on a push to open and push to shut mechanism that allows the drawers to sit flush and makes the design of the piece really sleek. However, the first piece arrived with a faulty mechanism on one of these drawers and the company offered me several options including replacement of the entire piece, which was expeditious.
