I love the style and that the only required assembly was to attach the legs. Unfortunately, I’m not sure this was worth the price. It’s definitely solid wood- it’s VERY heavy. It took three people to move it to the desired spot inside and that was without the drawers! (the drawers are easy to take out and add back in, there was be a paper pamphlet included in the box that explained how to do this). My biggest issues with this dresser are - Two of the drawers have small defects on their fronts and the back of the drawers are full of splinters (they’re not fully finished sanded down on the back edges). - One of the drawers is a bit crooked. It functions fine, but has an noticeable uneven gap in the spacing above it. I think this is due to one of the drawer tracks being installed slightly higher than the other. - Installing the legs should have been straightforward, but two of them didn’t line up. I figured out eventually that the brown plastic tack was added in the wrong spot and blocked the legs from being added in the correct spot. I was able to solve this by using a pair of pliers and pulling the brown plugs out (they’re basically giant push pins) and hammering them back in a few centimeters over.
The Ellis Dresser offers a modern look with practical functionality. Six spacious drawers with English dovetail construction glide smoothly on metal ball bearings, supported by sturdy metal legs equipped with floor levelers. Perfect for organizing, its minimalist wood and metal look compliments ample storage.
Love my new dresser in, great style, Great oak color, heavy and nice handles. Looked just like the pics online. I do think it is overpriced, a lot of little flaws like drawers not matching up on sides, not closing evenly, not big things you notice, just the little things when you look closer. For the price i would expect perfection, but still live it in the room. Kathy. Temecula, CA. Sat Aug 22 2026

Metal handles add a subtle contrast against the frame, which features natural woodgrain for added depth. Plus, the expansive surface offers room for a mirror or table lamp.
I purchased 2 of these for my kids rooms. They are cute but drawers really aren’t deep enough and don’t come out far enough to access your things in them!. Jennifer. Santa Monica, CA. Sat Sep 19 2026
