Our rug arrived one day earlier than the fast shipping quoted! It took less than three days to arrive! Once unwrapped there was a little chemical odor that was taken care of with an air purifier and open windows for a couple hours. The pad may have been the item that off gassed more than the rug. Absolutely perfect. Excellent size well packaged. I was able to move it and unload it and unroll it all by myself, and it was very well made and very heavy. It’s flattening out nicely. It has no weird smell. Yes it’s shedding but it’s supposed to for one year it’s wool and well made. The price point was unbeatable. This size rug usually sells for a lot more. I am a particular fan of this brand. I have quite a few of their other rugs, so I knew that I was going to get quality. Very pleased don’t be discouraged because it sheds it only sheds when you’re sweeping. Do be aware if you have kids and you want to get down on the floor with them it is wool. It’s not soft, fluffy.. Absolutely love this rug! Its much more plush than I expected it to be. It had a slight odor when we rolled it out (to be expected) but was gone in less than 24 hours. It laid flat immediately. The vacuum does tend to pick up quite a bit of wool but I dont think this is abnormal as Ive heard this happening with other wool rugs.
