Absolutely love this rug. No new rug smell. It’s stunning and perfectly completes my space. The braided detail on both short sides is so elevated as well and makes it a little more special than a basic checkered pattern. This rug is not only beautiful but is sturdy and quite comfortable underfoot with the recommended rug pad. After unrolling it and placement, it was lying flat by the next day. It has the look of kind of an open weft and weave but it is in fact durable… much to my surprise when my kitties had to try their claws out on it (of course cuz it’s new) not a yarn was pulled up on it! I’m very impressed! The Scandinavian design works very well with our eclectic MCM design open concept first floor dining and living. Couldn’t be happier and it arrived very quickly!. Jcb Etown.
