Tie a room together. Hand-loomed in India from durable wool, this area rug showcases a rich light beige hue and dimensional tufting in an understated striped pattern. Its thick pile height adds soft cushioning to your floors; we suggest pairing it with a rug pad for stability.
Pros: Looks great and has already proven to clean up pretty well (small dirt stains came out pretty easily). The stripes have a small bit of variation that makes it look more interesting/expensive. Even though it's no thicker than our old 100% poly rug it feels much more plush and cushioned. The cream color is great and goes with a range of styles. Cons: It sheds a lot. Be prepared to vacuum often. I expect this to settle over time but after a month it's still producing a good bit of lint. Though it's plush, it's not the softest material. More or less perfect. Came faster than expected. My only hesitation from 5 star is I do t think it’s a sustainable product. This rug is gorgeous and was the perfect accent to bring this room together. The green is muted and not jarring at all - it’s soft and elegant. Brings a sophisticated mid century modern vibe to my living room. The rug is plush without being shag, though it is deep. My Dyson runs on it with a little more effort than usual, but does not shut down like it does on true shag rugs. No shedding, no offgassing, no loose threads. I did have an issue with one corner during shipping where the packaging ripped and exposed the rug, but that was remedied by AllModerns customer service, and hidden under the couch.. We ordered the 8’ round version of this rug for a small guest room we have. We like the modern pattern the fact that it is wool not nylon. We also felt it was fairly priced. However, the actual color of the rug we received is drab! The photo of the item on line in the description is much nicer. There is no off-white in our rug. (See comparison photos above.) The lightest color in our rug is a kind of caramel. We will likely end up keeping the rug as returning it will be a hassle we do like the pattern.
