The rug is exactly as pictured. I wish there was a little bit more contrast so you could see the pattern more. But I was looking for a 6-7ft square rug for the space I had and there weren't a ton of options. This works well. Soft under foot. Good for the price. Soft but you can feel the ribbing of the rug base on your feet. Not black/white/gray as the pictures and details depict, the gray shape areas are actually a brown and green.
