This rug is gorgeous and was the perfect accent to bring this room together. The green is muted and not jarring at all - it’s soft and elegant. My Dyson runs on it with a little more effort than usual, but does not shut down like it does on true shag rugs. No shedding, no offgassing, no loose threads. This wool rug at this price point is a hell of a deal! It’s soft under your feet, and with a good quality rug pad it stays in place. I vacuumed it like crazy when I first laid it out after reading the other reviews about the excessive shedding… that’s pretty common for a wool shag rug.
