I LOVE this rug! It’s surprisingly soft underfoot for a rug of this type. And its pile is low enough to allow another, smaller rug to be used on top without it being a tripping hazard. Some of the knots have become slightly loose with use, but it’s worth it for the versatility it allows. (You can buy smaller rugs on sale and they look OK when layered on top of this one.). Rebecca. Really pleased with the color and visibility of the pattern in monotone. I was worried it would be darker or more brown but it is a true mustard. Nice thickness and weight makes it comfortable and allows it to unpack and lie flat easily. Have noticed quite a bit of shedding but that seems to be normal in the beginning for these wool rugs. I love this rug. It's the perfect color for my room, it's thick and plush, very high end feeling. It's the second of these I purchased. The rug is very thick and looks high quality. This pic is immediately after unrolling it so I have a heavy cutting board on the edge to help flatten the edge. After a few days it lays perfectly flat. My husband even made the comment that it was a nice rug. My dog got some mud on it and I had to spot clean it. Like the other reviews said... it does shed. Besides that I love the modern look!!. We ordered this rug to go underneath our kitchen table. It has a great mid-century modern design which works perfectly with our style as well as our gray/blue color scheme in the house. The rug itself works perfectly for what we wanted - we wanted a nice looking rug to go under the table to avoid scratching the floors, but did not want to spend an arm and a leg on a rug. I would highly recommend this rug as well as other items on the AllModern site.
