I LOVE this rug! It’s surprisingly soft underfoot for a rug of this type. And its pile is low enough to allow another, smaller rug to be used on top without it being a tripping hazard. The burnt orange color is so lovely and the slight southwest/geometric detail around the edges is interesting, not too much. Lots of people complain about the rug's shedding challenges, but HELLO, the rug is 100% wool! It sheds, peeps! Duh! If you want wool--and I DO want the natural fiber--shed happens! I use my beater mode on my vacuum to help lift the shed, and gradually there is less and less shed. The rug is holding up beautifully--it feels lush and cushy underfoot, the grands love doing yoga on it, or reading or wrestling around. It looks lush in our living room (and we have a runner too in our entryway). Additionally, we have the Blue Danette in our bedrooms and dining room. I couldn’t quite decide between 3 and 4 stars on this rug. There were very few customer reviews or photos when I bought it so I was purchasing purely off of site pics. Hopefully this helps others…Pros nice and thick, laid down easily with no creases, exact dimensions described and got here really quickly. It has a lot of color variation with tan threading sprinkled throughout which is good for hiding dirt, if you’re looking for that. Mines in a back entry so I suppose that’s a plus, and it seems to be holding up well to foot traffic. Cons It is not nearly as bright or silver as it shows in the site images, it is much more of a subdued vibe than I thought I was buying. I tried to take a close up to give a better feel for what the pattern looks like. The spot where sun hits it directly has yellowed a bit. I don’t blame the rug for that The biggest con for me is that the pattern isn’t straight. It curves heavily about 45th of the way down the rug. That part drives me crazy.. Mg. I ordered the pink color that looks more like deeper cinnamon. Fortunately it still works with the decor so I’m keeping it. Also, the edges are somewhat frayed.
